What WARDOGS is

WARDOGS is a tactical All-Out Warfare FPS developed by BULKHEAD. It combines tactical gunplay, combined-arms combat, building and destruction in a large-scale militaristic sandbox, and it is explicitly positioned as neither a Battle Royale nor an Extraction Shooter.

Up to one hundred players are divided among three teams fighting over the Control Zone. Cash persists between matches and can be spent on better gear, equipment or a vehicle.

The current Steam listing supports Windows. Team17 says it partnered with BULKHEAD to bring WARDOGS to Steam Early Access in 2026.

What to know before joining

  1. Prepare for a battlefield of up to one hundred players split across three teams, all contesting the Control Zone.
  2. Coordinate through teamwork and local voice chat, because communication and player decisions are central to the experience.
  3. Treat cash as a continuing resource between matches and decide when gear, equipment or a vehicle is worth the spend.
